I never really know where I'm going with them when I start, I just let the stories find their way. That can't take a lot of time, and doesn't always work. I've had many false starts. But once I can see the ending, it gets fun.

And they're a nice break from my usual ranting and raving. Bedtime stories...care to join me?

I love you!Ron Washam, HMWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238869156614617705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6745003136564123305.post-69583816062085628562014-03-13T20:42:22.516-07:002014-03-13T20:42:22.516-07:00"Don't axe Me"?

Narrators often forget and slip into the stupid American system. I always wondered why Ray Bradbury called it "Fahrenheit 451" instead of "Celsius 232.777" Oh.

Steve,
This apple farmer didn't have any kids. I think he was seedless.

Quizicat,
Well, Dr. Seuss has Death on me. And way more talent. That guy was a genius. I can't carry his Hat.

Mike,
Yeah, that's how to be a hit at the WBC, pull out the HoseMaster--they love me! Thanks for the kind words, Mike. Coming from you, well, that's high praise. I always think too many bloggers lose sight of the fact that without something interesting to say, your audience quickly tunes out. A long list of descriptions, and scores, is simple laziness. And complicated arrogance.

I'll have to check out your panel at the WBC. How did they talk you into that? Oh boy, I hope you get to meet some celebrity Poodles! Have fun, Mike.

Gabe,
Single Vineyard Cider is the next big thing! You could start a new tasting for cider dweebs called "In Pursuit of Braeburn." It could be your calling, my friend.

Dean,
Why do people live in Canada? Is it the curling? Ice wine from China sounds interesting. Is it frozen on a stick? Or are those Potsicles? We ban smoking however. Even CA bans smoking outdoors or within 5,000 miles of a school yet we vote to encourage smoking (pot) anywhere and there are no restrictions. If you eat pot it is considered veggies. Go figure. I am a little tired of bending over also. Actually, this is, but I liked even more the Ramey post on Monday. It solved a big question for me: When I'm on a panel at the Wine Bloggers Conference this summer, what am I to say to give them encouraging advice? Now all I have to do is pull out the Ramey post, say, "This is how it is to be done," and read it. I'll run over my given time, but what the hell.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08284995666531011299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6745003136564123305.post-7678500551705868482014-03-13T10:31:04.769-07:002014-03-13T10:31:04.769-07:00Dr Seuss has nothing on you.
